RECORDING OF GENERAL INFORMATION

When you visit our website, information of a general nature is automatically recorded. For example, this information (server log files) includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar. This exclusively consists of information which cannot be traced back to your person. This information is technically required to correctly deliver the contents of the website requested by you and is necessarily accrued when using the internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically analysed by us to optimise our website and the technology behind it.

Cookies

As many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred to your hard disk by a website server. In this way, we automatically receive specific data such as IP address, used browser, operating system through your computer and your connection to the internet.

Cookies cannot be used to start programmes or transfer viruses onto a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can make the navigation easier for you and enable the correct display of our websites.

In no circumstances is the data collected by us passed on to third parties or a connection made with personal details without your consent.

You can of course generally view our website also without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set in such a way that they accept cookies. You can deactivate the use of cookies at any time through the settings of your browser. Please use the help features of your internet browser to find out how you can change these settings. Please be aware that individual functions of our website may not work if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

USE OF MATOMO

This website uses Matomo, an open source software for the statistical analysis of visitor access. Matomo uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and which allow to analyse your use of a website.

The information generated by the cookie on your use of internet content is stored on a server in Germany.
The IP address is anonymised directly after processing and before storage. You have the option of preventing the installation of cookies by changing the settings of your browser software. Please be aware that, with the respective settings, not all the functions of this website may be available.

You can decide whether an explicit web analysis cookie may be placed in your browser to allow the website operator to collect and analyse various statistical data.

USE OF SCRIPT LIBRARIES (GOOGLE WEBFONTS)

In order to display our contents correctly and in a graphically appealing manner across browsers, on this website we use website script libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, contents are displayed in a standard script.

The retrieval of script libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. Here it is theoretically possible – although it is also currently unclear if it is and for which purpose – for operators of respective libraries to collect data.

You can find the data protection guideline of the library operator Google at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

USE OF GOOGLE MAPS

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data on the use of map functions by the user. You can find more information on data processing by Google in the Google data protection information. Here you can also change your personal data protection settings in the data protection centre.

You can find detailed instructions on the management of own data in relation to Google products.
here.

EMBEDDED YOUTUBE VIDEOS

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the respective plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a site with the YouTube plug-in, a connection is made to the YouTube servers. In this way, YouTube is informed about which pages you visit. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour personally to you. You can prevent this by previously logging out of your YouTube account.

When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies to collect information about user behaviour.

Those who have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad programme will not expect these cookies even when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube stores non-personal usage information also in other cookies. If you would like to prevent this, you must also block the storage of cookies in the browser.

You can find more information on data protection in “YouTube” in the provider’s data protection declaration at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

YOUR RIGHTS TO INFORMATION, CORRECTION, BLOCKING, DELETION AND OBJECTION

You have the right to receive information at any time about your personal data saved by us. You also have the right to the correction, blocking or, irrespective of the prescribed data storage for business processing, deletion of your personal details. Please contact our data protection officer. You can find the contact details at the bottom.

So that a blocking of data can be considered at any time, these data must be kept in a lock file for control purposes. In this way, you can also request a deletion of the data as long as there is no legal archiving obligation. Provided that there is such an obligation, we will block your data upon request.

You can make changes or revoke your consent by communicating it to us with effect for the future.

CHANGE OF OUR DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS

We reserve the right to adapt the data protection declaration from time to time so that it always complies with the current legal requirements, or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection declaration will then apply when you visit our page again.

The data protection declaration was created with the data protection declaration generator of activeMind AG.

ANALYTICS SERVICES

Our website uses Matomo, which is a so-called web analysis service. Matomo uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer which allow us to analyse your use of a website. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) is transferred to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes, which helps us optimise our website. Your IP address is immediately anonymised in this process, so that you can remain anonymous to us as a user. The information generated by the cookie when you use this website is not passed on to third parties. In this way, you can prevent the use of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website in full.
If you do not agree with the storage and analysis of this data from your visit, you can object to its storage and use by clicking below at any time. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is placed in your browser, which ensures that Matomo does not collect any session data whatsoever. Warning: if you delete your cookies, this will also delete the opt-out cookie, and it will have to be reactivated if required.
